Congratulations to Autohaus Jakob for receiving the coveted 2017 Internet Sales Award at the International Automotive Exhibition (IAA) in Germany!
Awarded by the German FCC and judged by various industry peers, Autohaus Jakob came in fifth place out of ten recipients of the Internet Sales Award 2017. Dealerships of all brands are able to apply, but only the top twenty get a visit from the judges. Representatives from auto magazines, financial institutions, and various service providers make up the jury and pay fairly conspicuous visits to the respective dealerships.
The candidates are judged based on website, social media presence, SEO/SEA strategies, lead and reputation management, and overall digital communication with customers.
Only the top ten dealerships are then awarded at the IAA in Frankfurt.
Philipp Kroschke, Managing Director of Christoph Kroschke GmbH, adds, "Digitization is no longer just a buzzword, but has come in the day-to-day work processes of the motor vehicle industry. Personalized communication and transparent processes form the basis for successful, digital customer relationship management. The winners of this year's ISA have adopted this challenge early on and implemented it in appropriate measures."

Autohaus Jacob specializes in importing new and used cars to Germany from all over Europe.
Due to the fact that they are a small, family owned dealership, they only house about 50 or 60 vehicles on their lot. At the same time, suppliers push about two-thousand cars to their website via real-time API. The problem is explaining this to customers: the endless array of vehicles they have at their fingertips, just not at the actual dealership.
“To explain this procedure to someone through an email or text is almost impossible,
but sending a video of a sales rep with a similar car builds trust. Through video, it’s much easier to explain why the cars aren't here and so on.” - Franz
After using Authntk and adopting video into the sales process, Autohaus Jacob saw their customer response rate increase to almost 90%.
