Video of the Month Wins Toronto Maple Leafs Tickets

CONGRATULATIONS TO LAUREN PODOLSKI OF 400 INFINITI IN ONTARIO, CANADA!

Lauren is starting the new year off with a bang; not only did she land Authntk’s Video of the Month for January, but she also snagged Toronto Maple Leafs tickets for winning Alta Automotive Group’s Video Contest!

Lauren, can you spread some of that 2017 mojo around to the rest of us?

Take a look at the winning video and then we’ll break it down for you.

The Alta Group partnered with Authntk and ran a 2-week video contest across 12 of their dealerships in Ontario. JP Ostiguy, Senior Manager Training and Sales for The Alta Group and John Colban, Operations Manager for Authntk, were the judges for the competition. They were looking for basic video must-haves, but to win this contest… pro-status required.

WHY LAUREN’S VIDEO STOLE THE SHOW, ACCORDING TO OUR JUDGES…

Duration: 1:08 ladies & gents, Lauren hit the sweet spot keeping her video around 1 minute in length

Landscape Mode: She holds her phone horizontally for a bigger and better picture, easy enough

Quality: She frames the vehicle and interior nicely throughout the video, not to mention we can hear her loud and clear… seeing and hearing, crucial to a great video

Personalization & Wow-Factors:

Lauren introduces herself and addresses the customer by name, she hits home by also giving her well-wishes, “I hope you start feeling better and come in for a test-drive”

She addresses the snow day and discloses top-secret info that only a salesperson may know, “headsets have never been opened”, “it’s a trade-in, the couple went to Florida for the winter

LAUREN HAD THIS TO SAY ABOUT HER EXPERIENCE USING WALKAROUND VIDEOS FROM AUTHNTK:

“Customers do so much of their own research online before making a call or inquiry, so sending them a video with all of the information in it and answering all of their questions at the same time makes the process much simpler for them. It gives them an opportunity to trust you before they meet you. Giving a specific video for each new customer is a great way to market yourself and the customer feels important with you taking the time to do so.

With so much competition in the industry, video is a great way to set yourself apart! I believe being natural in the video, focusing on the customer’s concerns, and letting your personality show makes a successful video!

The customers on the Odyssey came in the very next day and they didn’t live close!”

The truth is anyone can record a video in landscape mode, mention their name, and walk around a vehicle, but adding wow-factors (like Lauren’s above) adds tremendous value that only you can give your customers. This is the stuff that keeps the phone ringing and keeps them coming back for more.
